Karim believes all humans, regardless of their genders, colors, religious or spiritual convictions, have the right to equal pay for equal work, reproductive health care, and safety from physical abuse or discrimination. Karim has made fighting for these rights one of his greatest priorities. He launched a few nonprofit initiatives such as SOS Homeless, a project to provide shelters to homeless people, the Arab Jewish Dialog for Peace, and the Arab project to stop racial discrimination in the MENA region. In 2020, he worked with Invisible Hands, a non-profit organization delivering groceries and other essential items to populations especially vulnerable to COVID-19.
Karim was also honored to meet, interact, and work with many believers in these principles such as American attorney and writer Lisa Bloom, Sudanese-American human rights activist and filmmaker Soraya Mire, American Politician and Chairman of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, Julian Bond, Tunisian human rights activist Lina Ben Mhenni, and others.
